When I was on active duty in the U.S. Army 7th Infantry Division at Fort Ord, I determined that the principles of balance, transparency and fair representation were important to me. They mattered to me during my time in the service, and as a wife and a parent, and they guided me for the 30 years I worked as a CPA. Rep. Titus Introduces Legislation Establishing Avi Kwa Ame National Monument
Today Representative Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District introduced H.R. 6751, the Avi Kwa Ame National Monument Establishment Act of 2022. This legislation will designate Avi Kwa Ame as a National Monument and permanently protect nearly 450,000 acres of biologically diverse and culturally significant lands within the Mojave Desert.
