Carolina Núñez

Professor, BYU Law School

Carolina Núñez is the Charles E. Jones Professor of Law at BYU Law School, where she teaches and researches in the area of immigration law, immigrant rights, and citizenship.

The child of a Venezuelan father and a U.S. citizen mother, Carolina grew up traveling between two countries and two cultures. Her experiences have informed her efforts to help individuals who society might label “outsiders” or “strangers” feel welcome and, more importantly, needed.

Carolina and her husband, Kendall Hulet, live in Provo, Utah, and are the parents of three children, all of whom are growing taller, more independent, and more opinionated than their parents are ready to accept!
