Move in Closer with Author Priya Parker

This summer MWEG invites you to "Move in Closer" and return to a place of joy and connection in your relationships. You are invited to  join us for a lively, practical conversation with bestselling author and master facilitator Priya Parker, whose classic book The Art of Gathering shows how to make every get-together purposeful, memorable and fun!

A seasoned conflict-resolution expert, Parker blends humor, research, and real-world stories to help you overcome inertia and anxiety around gathering.  She’ll share tools you can use whether you’re hosting a neighborhood potluck, leading a service project, or running a Zoom meeting.

This evening will be warm and engaging, but you'll also leave with the ability to:

• Design gatherings of any size around a clear purpose

• Bridge ideological or cultural divides by swapping debate with “good controversy”

• Amplify resilience and hope with joyful gatherings
