Becca Kearl
Director of Empowerment
Becca Kearl is the Director of Empowerment at Mormon Women for Ethical Government overseeing several teams focused on empowering women to see themselves as active participants of civil society. With a career rooted in nonprofit leadership and advocacy, Becca has dedicated her work to building connections and fostering healthy, respectful dialogue. Prior to this role, she served as the Executive Director of Living Room Conversations, where she spearheaded national efforts to bridge divides and democratize dialogue across diverse communities.
Becca is a recognized leader in America’s Bridge Building Movement and serves on the Leadership Council for the Bridging Movement Collaborative where she leads training and place-based efforts. Her engagement in national coalitions and projects like Citizen University’s Civic Collaboratory and the National Week of Conversation give her a valuable lens to nationwide efforts to bring people together across differences. She believes in the power of collaboration and frequently dedicates time to collective impact efforts at the city, state, and national levels. In her spare time she is fully engaged in the non-profit venture of raising 5 kids, coaching their basketball teams and haggling with them about homework and screen time.
