It is an honor to wonder at the world and cherish its land, waters, and all living things and their surroundings. We are called to care for the Earth as an act of love for God and our fellow inhabitants. We can celebrate Earth Day by embracing our stewardship with love in action.

We are at a critical juncture for taking effective action and implementing policy to mitigate the effects of climate change.

As we recognize Earth Day, let us remember our responsibility and stewardship to each piece of Creation— the earth, its cycles and patterns.
