EJ Johnson

EJ Johnson, originally from the D.C. area, currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University and a master’s in health and international development from the London School of Economics. Before joining the MWEG team, EJ worked as a grant writer and served as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Transportation.

As the Strategy and Measurements Manager, EJ ensures our programs achieve a measurable impact while guiding the organization to maximize its civic influence. By blending her background in performance measurement with her experience in grant writing, she ensures MWEG’s growth is both strategic and data-driven. When she isn't working, EJ takes full advantage of the Wasatch Mountains through hiking and skiing.
