Jane Andersen
Arizona State Director
Jane Andersen grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, sparking her interest in politics and community engagement. She holds a B.A. in economics from Brigham Young University and an M.A. in constitutional law and political theory from The City University of New York. Jane's diverse career includes serving as an analyst for government clients on Wall Street with JP Morgan, handling public affairs for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New York City, and teaching political science as a college professor.
Currently, Jane is the Arizona Director for Mormon Women for Ethical Government, a nonpartisan nonprofit advocating for a peaceful, just, and ethical world. She also serves on a statewide coalition to prevent political violence, leads Valley Leadership’s Civic Engagement Impact Team, and sits on the boards of RightCount and Ryan House.
Jane and her husband of 26 years, Jon, have four children, including identical twins with autism, blindness, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. Caring for them has deepened her understanding of marginalized populations and the value of diverse perspectives.
