Lori Cartwright

Utah State Director

Lori Cartwright is the Utah State Director for Mormon Women for Ethical Government (MWEG) and the former Utah State Coordinator for Braver Angels. She is also currently enrolled in the Masters of Social Work program at Utah State University. These roles intersect perfectly with her desire to promote peace, create connection, and seek social justice.  She earned her bachelor's degree in English Literature at Brigham Young University and has since worked in a variety of roles in the education and legal fields in Utah, New Jersey, and Oregon. She has also volunteered for many organizations in her community and church and is currently a member of the 50+ Thriving Impact Team with A Bolder Way Forward. She has a large and lively family of 16  and loves to lead the whole brood on adventures on the water, in the mountains, and across the desert. Lori and her husband Joe have spent the past 4 years hopping around the world seeking adventure, connection, and direction. They are currently in Stansbury Park where Lori kayaks, hikes, works, studies, and writes.
