The Reconciliation Bill Impairs Manufacturing Goals

President Trump wants to increase domestic manufacturing. So do we. However, impeding the manufacturing boom we've experienced in the renewable energy sector won't enable that goal.


Investment in manufacturing construction has already more than doubled since 2022, thanks to government incentives that have provided both direct funding and tax incentives for semiconductor, infrastructure, electric appliance, and electric vehicle production. Unfortunately, Congress is set to significantly reverse much of this manufacturing progress with its current version of the reconciliation bill.
