The celebration of the Fourth of July provides us with an opportunity to think about how and where “we can lift where we stand.”

The invitation to become a peacemaker is an invitation for us to elevate ourselves, not an invitation to shrink ourselves.

Zion can be a refuge through beauty and holiness, connecting us to God.

Jesus seeks out his friends during Easter, knowing they are torn between love and fear. He yearns to connect with them, despite their grief.

Loving and caring with wisdom and order brings peace and balance.

Spiritual growth is a creative process, not about copying others. Embracing this creativity brings inspiration from diverse experiences.

Love as He loves. With endless compassion and hope. Unreasonably.
