The story of Christ’s birth is proof that dark moments can contain holy possibility.

Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, his name shall be called wonderful councilor, mighty God, the Everlasting, the Prince of peace.

What is your daily “light routine”? Let’s up the wattage so divine light can shine into the dark corners of our souls and on the problems of our world — to illuminate, to heal, to cleanse and purify.

I need the Savior every hour, in joy and in pain. And He is there. His presence filled us with rejoicing and with comfort. He helped us to grieve and to celebrate.

I hope this Easter Sunday brings peace and comfort as you contemplate the incredible life and gifts of our Savior.

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:34-35).

When Christ is our lodestar, we not only can make courageous choices, but we can respond with love to those we anger and find comfort for our weary souls as we deal with the fallout. 

Discipleship requires aligning one’s life with Christ’s calling, even in uncertain times.

Choices made towards Christ bring empowerment and divine love. Small, intentional decisions can prepare us for His return.

May you find that joy in Jesus, that hope in eternity, and comfort in the knowledge that you are not alone.

Christmas is a time of hope, redemption, and love. It reminds us of the power of Christ to change lives and inspire us to change the world.

Love as He loves. With endless compassion and hope. Unreasonably.

Christ guides us, leads us, keeps and loves us through the dark of night and into the bright light of day.

Ultimately, we have to know when we need to lay this grief down at the feet of Him who is greater than us.

The Savior shares our burdens, making us never truly alone. In times of loneliness, remember the love and prayers of those who care.
