When Christ is our lodestar, we not only can make courageous choices, but we can respond with love to those we anger and find comfort for our weary souls as we deal with the fallout. 

We have a work to do, inherited from our sisters, our grandmothers, our great-grandmothers . . . and so many others. It is a work that requires many hands, and the collective optimism and creativity of a whole calvary of sisters cheerfully and anxiously engaged in doing good.

Women can tap into God’s power as they do the quotidian work of mortality and as they aim to grow toward exaltation.
